Villa Cartaphilus

Luxury, style and comfort come to mind the moment you arrive at Villa Cartaphilus. It is an oasis of calm, where you can enjoy total privacy in a spacious property that is not overlooked.

The Villa is located in the exclusive area of Los Mojones in Puerto del Carmen, next door to Casa Cristal. It is a ten-minute stroll to the old town, or a 15-minute walk to the new town.

The old town offers great shopping and a range of excellent bars and restaurants along with beautiful harbour and scenic views, while the new town has a choice of expansive sandy beaches, offering all the aquatic fun you could want.

There is something for everyone, within walking distance of Villa Cartaphilus!

On your arrival at Villa Cartaphilus you will find a spacious double car port surrounded by lava stone walls and exotic cacti. A walkway, with lush tropical plants, leads from the car porch to the front door and continues around the rest of the villa.

Now step inside ….. you will face a stunning wall of glass windows, with triple sliding doors giving you an uninterrupted view of the luxurious pool and patio area.

You are now standing in an airy and spacious living space, with  high ceilings, split-level dining and a comfortable lounge area.  For your added comfort the lounge area is equipped with stylish sofas and armchairs, a modern entertainment system including a 52-inch-high definition TV screen with multiple channels, including English, Irish and Netflix. There is full access to WIFI through the Villa, and a pool table adds an added touch to the entertainment possibilities!

The separate kitchen is fully equipped with all the modern appliances needed for your stay, including a fridge freezer and full fridge.

Villa Cartaphilus has six bedrooms and sleeps up to 14 people.  This accommodation consists of two master bedrooms with ensuite, two triple bedrooms, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom.

The property boasts stunning gardens surrounded by beautiful tropical plants and high walls, ensuring your privacy. There is an inviting, spacious private pool and patio area, where you can relax in the sunshine on the sun loungers and beach towels provided. The beautiful, spacious pool will keep you cool during the day, and can be illuminated at night to add to the atmosphere of the stunning terrace. You can enter the pool via the Roman steps.

This Villa is ideal for little ones, as it has a secured smaller pool off the main pool with a depth of 0.35 meters. Furthermore, it is set in a large sun terrace, which offers both shaded and non-shaded areas.

If cooking is your pleasure, there is a state of the art, built-in charcoal barbecue. There is a full range of garden furniture including two dining tables. Dining al-fresco is a must!

A Modern security alarm system, including three safes, is fully fitted to ensure your peace of mind during your stay. All windows throughout the villa have a safety opening position, so you can open them during the night but still feel secure.

Smoking is not permitted indoors. Ash trays are provided adjacent to the patio area, which you are respectfully asked to use should you wish to smoke.

Property Management Representative

All our villas are managed by our resident property management company who will be on hand to answer any queries you may have or provide any necessary assistance to you during your stay.

For guests arriving on Friday, Saturday and Sundays – A member of our property management company will visit your villa on Mondays between 10am – 12pm approx.*

For guests arriving between Monday and Thursdays – A member of our property management company will visit your villa on the morning after your arrival from 10am – 12pm approx.*
*Please note that times and days may vary and are subject to change. Upon your arrival, all details for our property management company will be made available to you, should you wish to get in touch.

Padraig is the perfect host and was available anytime required. Property is amazing and even better than the video. So relaxing and loads of space for our party of 11. Hint is to book direct with P.Kelly villas and save money.

A large very private pool area with a beautiful swimming pool as well as a pool table a perfect sun-trap as it gets the sun all day. Its situated in a quiet residential area but close to amenities, the harbour and the nearest beach is about a 15 minute walk. Just returned from Lanzarote where we booked this villa after our hotel was closed due to Covid 19 What a great choice, the villa is amazing, spacious, clean, pools area is great with loads of space to relax and chill. About a 15 minute walk into the centre of town, but we used the local taxis at around 3 euros at time it saved the effort of walking. This villa is in the quiet area of Los Mojones. The walk to the old town harbour, shopping centre or the strip is short and a taxi back costs less than €5. The living/dining area is huge, and we found the sixth bedroom on our second day! It has been recently refurbished and the current photos don't do it justice. Fittings and furnishings are good quality. Comfortable beds. Ornaments and pictures decorate the walls, shelves and furniture which you do not find in other villas. Massive TV, though we didn't turn it on. No IKEA here! No shortage of kitchen and BBQ utensils, cutlery and delph. Dishwasher, washing machine, two large fridges, freezer and a wine/beer chiller. Outside there is a good sized pool, 1.5 M deep, and plenty of space for sun beds, with two big outdoor dining tables, BBQ, dart board and pool table. New sunbeds with cushions supplied. Totally private, not overlooked. There is also plenty of hot water and the power did not trip, even once. The restaurant arena is a 5 minute walk and is excellent and in a different class to the resort restaurants.

What a super villa. Better than the photos on the website. Clean and plenty of room for all of us as a party of seven. Everything you could need in a home from home. Great outdoor pool and good size BBQ. Beds were so comfortable and there was always hot water. Within 20 mins walk of the local Lidl and beach front strip and yet quiet enough to relax. A taxi is only €3 if your legs are not up for the walk. The owners were very accommodating and helpful. A definite must for anyone looking for a large open clean villa with a large group. The Villa was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. The pool and area around it was gorgeous , plenty of sunbeds, pool table and fabulous bbq which used on several occasions. It was completely private with no one overlooking our pool area. Fully equipped kitchen . the pool was cleaned twice whilst we were there. The location was in a lovely quite area within walking distance to the town . A pleasure to stay here. Kelly villas themselves made the whole booking process easy as usual. I would highly recommend both this villa and Kelly villas themselves .

About the Area

Puerto del Carmen is located on the south-east side of Lanzarote and is among the most important tourist spots on the island. There are more than 6km of beautiful sandy beaches which would suit any beach lover.

It has a full range of services and entertainment centres situated along the expansive Las Playas Avenue, from department stores, shopping centres, restaurants and bars, recreational centres, to pubs and discos.

If you are a fan of sports activities, you will be spoiled for choice in Puerto del Carmen; from windsurfing and marine excursions, to deep sea fishing, scuba diving and boat tours.

Originally a small fishing village, the old town harbour is a delightful place to visit, and is home to some excellent bars, restaurants and excursions running out of the harbour.
